About Us

ResponSea Alliance is a French-Indonesian non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2026 following the Putri Sakinah tragedy. Our mission is to strengthen maritime crisis response by facilitating coordination between international actors and local operational structures.

ResponSea Alliance is founded on five core pillars: Alert, Response, Training, Advisory, and Crisis management, combining expertise and action to save lives at sea.

The association was established by four founders, each bringing unique expertise and experience in the same state of mind:

Bayu WARDOYO

Co-founder and Safety Advisor

Bayu brings extensive expertise in diving safety, search and rescue operations, and local networks in Indonesia.

Deris EL SHADDAI

Co-founder and Treasurer

With extensive NGO experience, Deris connects the organization with academic and private partners through a strong professional network.

Arielle BARBARIN

Co-founder and Secretary

  • Administrative and Financial Director, Faculty of Sports, Toulouse

  • 25 years of experience in public service 

  • Project Manager and Event Coordinator

With her knowledge of the French administrative system, Arielle ensures the organization’s stability, transparency, and strategic development.
